Accountant - Part time

We are searching for an experienced Financial Accountant to manage the accounting requirements for our client’s investment / mortgage (finance) company.

The role is part time – likely to be 2 – 3 days part time per week, or hours to suit. This role may appeal to an accountant returning to the workforce, or may appeal to a recently retired accountant seeking part time work.

Our ideal candidate will have the New Zealand expertise and experience to prepare and finalise Tier 1 accounts, and to ensure the financial functions of the business are met. Whilst a CA or CPA qualification is preferred, it is not essential.

Key tasks:

• Annual accounts
• Inland Revenue returns
• Trust Account management
• Debtor / payables
• Payment runs
• Tax advice
• Audits
