Our client provides complete property maintenance solutions to businesses across New Zealand. We’re looking for a dynamic and energetic Business Development Manager to join their team based in Dunedin to cover the Otago area. The focus of this role is to generate new business.

 

As our successful candidate, you will be a proven ‘hunter’, driven to achieve targets and succeed! You will be a self-starter, identifying opportunities and then achieving success. You won’t be sitting in an office waiting for the phone to ring, you’ll be out talking to potential clients and driving new business.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth and revenue
  • Complete site visits to scope jobs and prepare accurate & detailed cost estimates
  • Prepare and deliver compelling proposals to prospects and clients
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders
  • Liaise with a wide range of clientele in the commercial and rural sector
  • Work closely with project managers to oversee successful implementation of solutions

Experience:

  • Proven experience in business development, sales and relationship management in a B2B environment
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • You must be a resilient, and eager self-starter
