About the Role:
Are you a skilled mechanic looking to take your career to the next level? Our long-standing, well-respected client is seeking a motivated Diesel Mechanic - or a Light Vehicle Mechanic keen to train up to Diesel - to join their supportive, team-focused workshop.

You’ll have the opportunity to work on a range of vehicles, develop your skills, and be part of a team that values safety, quality, and career growth.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair diesel vehicles, with support for upskilling if coming from light vehicle experience.
  • Participate in a shared after-hours on-call roster with additional payments for call-outs.
  • Ensure work is completed to a high standard, with compliance to safety and certification requirements.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment and help mentor less experienced staff.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • NZ Trade qualified (or equivalent) Diesel Mechanic, or Light Vehicle Mechanic eager to train to Diesel.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to team success.
  • Willingness to learn, grow, and take on new challenges.
  • Attention to detail and adherence to safety and quality standards.
