We’re searching for an experienced Drainage & Plumbing Estimator to join our client’s busy drainage – plumbing team. This may suit a person wanting to get off the tools who is already pricing drainage and / or plumbing jobs.

This is a permanent, full time role based in Dunedin.

As the Drainage & Plumbing Estimator, you will be responsible for pricing mainly commercial drainage and plumbing projects. These projects can be complex, so you will be used to working from plans and specifications.

Job responsibilities:

• Build strong relationships with key commercial clients and main contractors
• Full cost estimates of plumbing and drainage projects
• Respond to ‘Requests for Tender’
• Workclosely with project and site managers
• Attend client meetings
• On-site visits to monitor progress
• Assist with contract administration

Job requirements:

• 5 years’ experience with pricing commercial / civil drainage and plumbing projects
• Solid experience with working from plans and specifications
• Strong Excel skills and experience with estimating software
• Well developed communication skills both written and verbal
• Strong industry knowledge of plumbing and drainage sector
