Are you an experienced Executive Assistant who enjoys being one step ahead and supporting senior leadership?

Our client is looking for a capable and proactive EA to provide high-level support to the CEO and Board. The core hours are 10am–2pm, Monday to Friday, with additional hours available and planned in advance, taking the role up to 30 hours per week.

You will also need to be flexible to attend Board meetings outside of the core hours, including taking minutes.

This is a varied role where no two days will necessarily be the same. You'll be responsible for keeping the CEO organised, supporting Board activities, coordinating meetings and projects, and ensuring important tasks and deadlines are managed effectively.

  • Preparing agendas, papers, correspondence, reports and presentations
  • Coordinating Board meetings, documentation and follow-up
  • Taking and preparing accurate Board minutes using BoardPro
  • Supporting Board governance and compliance administration
  • Coordinating projects and working with managers across the organisation
  • Providing some HR, payroll and general administrative support as required

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in an EA role supporting senior leadership
  • Excellent organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident minute-taking and document preparation skills
  • Proactive, highly organised and able to anticipate what needs to be done
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills and the ability to quickly learn new systems
  • Professional and discreet, with the ability to handle confidential information
  • Flexible and comfortable working independently and managing competing priorities

What's on offer?

  • 10am–2pm Monday–Friday as your core hours
  • Additional hours planned in advance, up to 30 hours per week
  • Competitive hourly rate, dependent on experience
  • Temporary position with potential to become permanent
  • A varied EA role with direct CEO and Board exposure
