About the role:

Are you passionate about helping people develop their careers? Our client has a proven track record of supporting and developing people in their chosen career with training, qualifications and apprenticeships.

This is a 12-month, fixed term role, with the office based in Harewood, Christchurch with the flexibility to work from home (hybrid).

 

Duties of the role:

  • Support trainee career pathways and training progression through collaboration with employers, trainees and industry experts
  • Promote company services to attract trainees and apprentices
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Identify new business opportunities and target clients
  • Manage regular call cycles and appointments throughout the Christchurch region
  • Promote services at industry events and engage with potential customers and trainees
  • Manage the CRM and ensure documentation is compliant with set standards

Skills & Experience:

  • Have a passion for training and development
  • Experience in education/NZQA knowledge/training and development may be advantageous
  • Proven experience of business development and effectively managing client relationships
  • Great computer skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • This role requires a real “People Person”

 

Due to the nature of this role, you must hold a clean, full NZ drivers’ licence as this role requires travel around the region in a company vehicle.
