About the role:
Are you passionate about helping people develop their careers? Our client has a proven track record of supporting and developing people in their chosen career with training, qualifications and apprenticeships.
This is a 12-month, fixed term role, with the office based in Harewood, Christchurch with the flexibility to work from home (hybrid).
Duties of the role:
- Support trainee career pathways and training progression through collaboration with employers, trainees and industry experts
- Promote company services to attract trainees and apprentices
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
- Identify new business opportunities and target clients
- Manage regular call cycles and appointments throughout the Christchurch region
- Promote services at industry events and engage with potential customers and trainees
- Manage the CRM and ensure documentation is compliant with set standards

Skills & Experience:
- Have a passion for training and development
- Experience in education/NZQA knowledge/training and development may be advantageous
- Proven experience of business development and effectively managing client relationships
- Great computer skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- This role requires a real “People Person”
Due to the nature of this role, you must hold a clean, full NZ drivers’ licence as this role requires travel around the region in a company vehicle.
