Are you passionate about helping people grow in their careers? This full-time, permanent role is all about supporting employees in the infrastructure sector through training, qualifications, and apprenticeships. Some travel around Nelson, Marlborough & West Coast is required.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Work with companies to understand their workforce capability / training needs and employee development needs
  • Support trainees’ pathways and help them achieve nationally recognised qualifications and unit standards (credits)
  • Promote training and development programmes to attract new trainees and apprentices
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Identify new business opportunities and grow uptake of training programmes
  • Manage call cycles, appointments, and CRM documentation across your territory
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences.

 

Knowledge & Experience Required:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a sales or account management role
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Experience in, or comfort with, the infrastructure industry
  • Knowledge of NZQA qualifications and processes or experience in the education/training sector is highly advantageous
  • Full, clean NZ driver’s licence
  • Willingness to work occasional non-standard hours for industry meetings or conferences
  • Passion for training, development, and helping people succeed
  • Strong computer skills with excellent attention to detail
  • A genuine “People Person” with energy and enthusiasm.
