CEG is known for delivering accurate, responsive, and high-quality service to a diverse client base. With continued expansion, they are now looking to welcome another skilled accountant into their team.

 

About the role

This is a hands-on position where you’ll work across a diverse client base, from small business owners to larger commercial clients - giving you real exposure and development.

  • Prepare annual financial statements and reports
  • Manage GST and tax compliance
  • Prepare and file tax returns
  • Work closely with senior team members
  • Contribute to delivering high-quality advisory support

 

What you’ll bring

You’re a motivated and capable accountant who enjoys delivering high-quality work and building strong client relationships.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • 3+ years’ experience in a NZ accounting practice
  • Strong knowledge of NZ tax legislation and compliance
  • Confidence preparing financial statements and returns
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A positive, solutions focussed mindset
