Mental Health Support Workers – Permanent Roles

Position Overview: Due to expansion, we are seeking dedicated and empathetic Mental Health Support Workers to join our client's team. The ideal candidates will possess a strong passion for helping others and will be responsible for providing direct support and assistance to individuals with mental health challenges. These are permanent full-time and part-time roles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide emotional support and encouragement to individuals experiencing mental health difficulties
• Assist clients in developing coping strategies and life skills to manage their mental health effectively
• Set and achieve agreed goals and activities of daily living
• Assist with housework, meal preparation and Personal Care
• Monitor and document client progress and report any concerns to the appropriate supervisor

Skills required:

• Compassionate and non-judgmental attitude towards individuals with mental health challenges
• Previous experience with providing Personal Cares is preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines in all interactions with clients
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Full and clean driver’s licence
