We are partnering with a not-for-profit organisation that provides essential support to people affected by harm within the community. They are seeking a capable and dependable Financial Administrator to ensure strong financial administration and responsible management of funds.

 

About the Role

You will maintain financial stability and transparency, supporting leadership and the Board with accurate processing of financial transactions, and timely reporting.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • End-to-end payroll processing (iPayroll)
  • Preparing and issuing invoices
  • Managing weekly payments
  • Reconciling accounts in Xero
  • Supporting the annual budget process
  • Preparing and filing GST returns
  • Coordinating documentation for the annual audit and liaising with external accountants
  • Preparing monthly reports, including Profit & Loss statements and debtor summaries for Board meetings

 

About You

You are organised, discreet, and highly trustworthy. You understand the importance of financial accuracy within a sensitive, community-focused environment.

You will bring:

  • Proven experience in financial administration or bookkeeping
  • Strong working knowledge of Xero (iPayroll experience advantageous)
  • Confidence with GST and financial reporting
  • Excellent attention to detail and deadline management
  • The ability to work independently while supporting governance-level reporting
  • A high level of professionalism and integrity
