• Afternoon shift (4:30pm to 12:30am Monday to Friday)
Full-Time | Hands-On Role | Some Flexibility Required
We’re looking for a down-to-earth, capable, and confident Production Supervisor to lead our client’s food production team. This is a sole charge role, so you'll be running the show on the afternoon shift – making sure everything flows smoothly, the team is supported, and quality standards are met.
If you're someone who can lead a team, solve problems on the fly, and jump in wherever needed – this could be the perfect fit.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Running the afternoon production shift and supervising staff
- Rostering and managing team coverage
- Overseeing machinery – operating, basic troubleshooting, and keeping things running
- Data entry and scheduling and logging payroll details
- Teaming up with the Dayshift Supervisor to keep things consistent
- Keeping an eye on food quality and supervising QC staff
- Being hands-on where and when needed
- Stepping in to cover the Dayshift Supervisor occasionally – so a bit of flexibility is a must
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in food production or manufacturing, ideally in a supervisory role
- Good with people – you know how to lead a team and keep things running smoothly
- Mechanically minded – you’re not afraid to get your hands dirty
- Computer literate
- Reliable, adaptable, and not afraid to roll up your sleeves
- Solid understanding of food safety, HACCP, and GMP
What You’ll Get:
- A stable, full-time role with consistent hours + allowances + OT available
- A supportive and friendly team culture
- A mix of leadership and hands-on work
- The chance to be part of a well-established food manufacturing business
