Our Client, Gilmour Motors Suzuki – Dunedin is seeking a Sales Consultant. This isn’t your typical “car sales” role. Gilmour Motors pride themselves ourselves on creating a relaxed, welcoming environment where their customers feel supported, not sold to.

What the role involves

• Helping customers find the right car to fit their needs and lifestyle
• Keeping the used cars looking sharp — arranging grooming, servicing, and reconditioning
• Managing the little details that make the big difference, from tidy paperwork to follow-ups
• Delivering a customer experience that keeps people coming back

Who we’re looking for

• You genuinely enjoy people — you’re a natural listener and communicator
• You’re organised and reliable, with great attention to detail
• You’re happy juggling a variety of tasks and take pride in doing things well
• Sales experience is preferred – but experience in vehicle sales isn’t required — “we’ll teach the product knowledge and process”. Hospitality, retail, or admin experience could be a great fit.
• You will have a clean full drivers’ licence and able to drive manual vehicles
