We are seeking an experienced Senior Administration Manager to join a well-established mortgage investment company based in modern offices in Dunedin’s CBD.
This is a key operational role within a small, high-performing team, responsible for overseeing trust accounting, investor administration, mortgage / loan administration and regulatory compliance within a Financial Markets Conduct Act (FMCA) registered scheme.
This is a permanent, full-time, in-office position.
The Role
You will take ownership of the day-to-day administration and compliance functions of the business, including:
Trust Accounting & Financial Management
- Reconciling and managing the Trust Account
- Ensuring accurate and timely quarterly investor payments
- IRD filing
Compliance & Regulatory
- Managing Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance and reporting
- Ensuring adherence to Financial Markets Conduct Act requirements
- Coordinating audits and responding to auditor queries
Investor & Loan Administration
- Preparing loan and investor documentation
- Producing quarterly investor statements
Governance Support
- Coordinating Board meetings, including agendas and minutes
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Proven experience managing Trust Accounts (essential)
- Strong understanding of NZ financial services compliance (including AML)
- Advanced Excel and spreadsheeting capability
- High level of accuracy and numeracy
- Experience with Xero (or similar accounting software)
- Experience with Finpower (preferred)
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently
