Senior Revit Technician (North Shore)

Our client is a highly respected commercial property developer based on the North Shore that has a great opportunity for a SENIOR REVIT TECHNICIAN. You will need at least 5 years’+ experience to be successful in this role. You will be part of the design team reporting directly to the Principal Design Manager, and you will collaborate with design team members, development managers, project and site managers, estimators, contractors and more.

The role:

• Produce Documentation packages through all phases – preliminary design, building consent and construction
• Lead the setup of drawing packages and documentation
• Provide expert technical advice, mentorship and guidance for documentation and Revit
• Ensure Building Act, Building Code and Resource Consent conditions are met
• Prepare Building Consent documentation, plans and schedules
• Issue Consultant Advice Notices (CANs) with hand sketch / updated sheets
• Develop drawing sets and data to assist ECI / take offs and other information

Requirements:

• New Zealand tertiary qualification NZCD / B.Arch
• A minimum of 5 years relevant post qualification work experience
• Expert knowledge of Revit and other packages eg Autodesk Cloud
• Well-developed technical knowledge of relevant legislation and New Zealand Building Codes
• Accurately prepare shop drawing reviews
• Attend site meetings, and resolve contractor issues
• Prepare monthly reports
• Strong communication skills
• Great team player
